It's totally possible that I don't completely understand what memory leak is.  :)  What I was talking about is the fact that while it's open, Firefox will steadily use more and more memory.  It might start at 100,000K consumption, and over the course of minutes or hours creep up and up, steadily using more and more memory.  I've seen that happening even with 3, though it is significantly improved compared with 2, and with 3 Beta.  On my Mac, I've also had quite a few crashes with FF 3, where it will choke on a tab or a website application, and then close.  Much less frequent on my PC though.  I'm interested to see how Chrome performs.

		<description>Are you using Firefox 3? I find it doesn't leak at all. Sure, it uses up RAM with lots of tabs but it clears the memory properly when you close them.</description>
