I really love watching shows and movies through Netflix instant, It reminds me of flying on Virgin or staying in a nice hotel--such has been my previous experience with instant movie watching. But, I agree the selection leaves a lot to be desired. I'm lucky in that I love British comedy and they have a lot of it on Netflix instant. It does make you wonder why the selection isn't better. My guess is it's a licensing issue of some kind as they have a great selection of some categories and a dismal selection in others. My hope is that in about a year the selection will be a lot better as more studios etc. allow their content to be seen this way.

Despite it's flaws i think NetfliXBOX360 is a much more economically and user-friendly choice than paying top dollar for premium channels like HBO and Showtime.

Also, National Treasure is a much more fun ride than it's clumsy sequel (if you can stand 2 more hours of Nick Cage and What's-Her-Name. At least the first one has Sean Bean)

At first I find it's common to be disappointed by Netflix's selection of Instant View movies - but take a closer look; it's not that there isn't good movies, it's that Netflix doesn't know how to properly promote its good selection.

Here's a few gems:
Superbad
30 Rock: Seasons 1 & 2
The Office: All Seasons
Dexter: Season 1
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Meet The Robinsons
High Fidelity
Spiderman 3
Ratatouille

...They generally have newer TV series and older movies - but they update the selection fairly often. Give it a chance.

Here's some things I'm not thrilled with though: Sony just pulled all their Instant View movies from the 360's available lineup. And since we already pay for Netflix, why is it required to have a Gold Xbox Membership to view the movies? I like the ability to create my own avatar and stream netflix and community games are going to be great, but other than that all the NXE really brings us is a shitload of more advertisements on our screens.
