About 1to10:
1TO10REVIEWS is a review blog by David Speiser, with contributions from friends and colleagues with interesting things to say. We like to write about technology, movies, the internet (never going to last), knives, and other topics we find interesting. As of August 2008, we’ve undergone a significant re-design. We’ve switched over from a Wordpress.com hosted blog to a self-hosted system supplied by Wordpress. org. It’s been a challenging switch.
Coupled with this change in hosting and design, we are also making some changes to the format. Heretofore we’ve given every review a ranking between 1 and 10. We’ve decided to switch this up a bit. From this point forward, every review will start out with: “On a scale of 1 to 10, this is…” The ellipsis might be a number between 1 and 10, or it may be some adjective. For example: On a scale of 1 to 10, 1to10reviews.com is dope. Get it?
This may seem wacky to you. It does to us too, and that’s why we like it.
